Worth a visit

(3) Lacs des Lozières: a fabulous view of the Roche Ferran, the great glacier of the same name and Mont Pelve awaits you. A beautiful torrent flows down from the glaciers and a stunning waterfall adds to this picture-postcard scene.

A magnificent but long route. We set off from Les Fontanettes in Pralognan and took the 8.30 am chairlift, as the distance to the Arpont refuge is long but perfectly manageable.
