Description of the walk

Park in the car park at the Dalis Forest House.

(S/E) From the Dalis car park, after a north-easterly climb along a fairly long but easy forest track in good weather, follow the signs to the refuge. Cross a stream, the Ravin de l’Aiguillette.

(1) Continue climbing until you reach a forest track.

(2) Follow this forest road as it climbs, cross the Riou Guérin at a ford, and continue north-east to reach another stream, the Riou des Routas.

(3) Turn south-east, cross another stream, the Riou de la Pare, and reach a bend in the forest track.

(4) Leave the forest track and take a path on the right which is circular and leads to the Refuge de la Pare, where you can enjoy a refreshing meal.

(5) Return via the forest track, pass the Riou Guérin ford, and reach a Fork in the road you passed on the way out.

(2) Ignore the forest track on the right and continue straight ahead to reach the Parking des Dalis (S/E).
