The few sections on roads have accessible hard shoulders and are not very busy.
From the Moulins de Calon to the Château des Tours
A stone’s throw from Saint-Emilion, a hilly and varied route: the windmills of Calon, scenic viewpoints, woodland and a magnificent château.
Around Montagne de Calon in Saint-Georges
This slightly hilly route takes you past the beautifully restored Moulins de Calon mills. You will cross vineyards and admire numerous châteaux and several Romanesque churches...
The difference between this route and the Des Moulins au Château des Tours route is that there is less undergrowth and more castles and viewpoints, as well as the Church of Saint-Georges.
Circular north of Montagne via Les Moulins de Calon
A short circular, gently undulating loop through vineyards and woodland, passing by the magnificent, perfectly restored Calon mills.
The Balconies of Sainte-Colombe
A pleasant route through vineyards and châteaux, slightly hilly with numerous viewpoints.
The church at Sainte-Colombe is almost always visible, which may reassure some people.
