From Jausiers, drive up the Route de la Bonette (Route de Restefond). After the hamlet of La Chalanette, look for a concrete drinking water installation on the right below the road and turn right into the first path that follows. Drive down and park just after the hairpin bend. The walking route is marked in yellow and has a few signposts.
(S/E) Continue on foot along the path that descends towards the north-west (in the opposite direction to the Route de la Bonette, which is just above). At the first crossroads, at a drinking trough, take the path that descends to the left. Follow this path down to the torrent.
(1) Take the wide bridge that crosses the stream and climb up the other bank to an area of open meadows. Stay on the same straight path. A little further on, at a small water collection building, take the path that climbs up to the left of the building. Continue south until you reach a footbridge.
(2) Do not cross, but follow the path that climbs to the left (unless you want to do the walk in the opposite direction or only go up to the waterfall, in which case take the footbridge). Continue on this path, which winds its way up through the woods and offers several beautiful views of the valley, Jausiers and the neighbouring peaks. You will reach a large clearing with a ruined sheepfold.
(3) Continue on the same path, passing at the foot of the sheepfold and continuing under the trees. You will reach the pastoral track.
(4) Turn right and continue along the track until you reach the ford.
(5) Cross the stream at the ford.
Be careful, in spring the flow can be strong and it may be best not to venture into the water. In this case, return by the same route, there is no alternative.

(6) Pay attention to the markings here and don't miss the small path on the right of the track, which you need to leave at this point. If you miss this intersection, you can take the second one just before a sheepfold, which will put you back on the right path. Under the cliff, you will reach a basic viewpoint offering a beautiful view of the waterfall.
(7) Continue down the same path and return to the first footbridge.
(2) Turn left after crossing the stream to return to the path you took on the way up. After the bridge over the stream, go up the path on the left and at the first crossroads turn right towards the starting point (S/E).
