Park in the car park near Lake Pareloup at Notre-Dame d'Aurès-Pareloup beach.
(S/E) Head towards the lake and walk along it towards the dam: a footpath leads to its foot.
(1) Go back up the road and cross the dam. On the other side, pass between a restaurant and a campsite. Continue along the small road until you reach the junction marked "La Gourde" on the left. Turn left onto the small road and leave the two access roads to the housing estates on your right.
(2) At the crossroads of several dirt tracks, at the small car park, turn right onto the track that runs alongside a wooded hedge above the Bois de Serres housing estate. Continue along this track until you reach a small country road.
(3) Follow it to the left for 1.5 km: be careful, this road is not shaded on hot days. You are on a section of the GTML, which you will soon leave. You will reach a crossroads shortly after crossing the Ruisseau de la Gourde.
(4) Take the track on the left, following the GTML.
(5) Turn left onto a wooded path that takes you back to the lake. In the woods, at a right-angle bend, head left to the area set up for observing local wildlife (migratory birds during the season and other winter visitors).
(6) Turn back and take the path on the left to complete the tour of Lac de la Gourde, passing over the pontoons set up for fishing. Continue to the right before reaching the cul-de-sac (access to the EDF building) to return to the small car park.
(2) Retrace your steps in the opposite direction to return to the beach and the car park (S/E).
