Park in the village of Salles-Curan, Place de la Mairie.
(S/E) From Place de La Mairie, walk along Square Eugène Viala on your right and descend to the town tour. Cross Avenue de Sully,
then descend via theGR® 62, following the red and white markings, and find the small road to Connes. Turn right.
(1) 200 m further on, leave theGR® 62 trail and continue along the road that runs alongside the stream of the same name until you reach the Baraque de Connes. Continue along this small road until you reach the Moulin de Connes.
(2) After the hamlet, take a path on the right that goes up to the "Baraque du Cantonier".
(3) When you reach the D993, cross it and turn left for about 20 metres. Take the small road to Martouret on the right. Follow it for about 1.5 km, passing under the high-voltage power lines.
(4) Take theGR® 62 on the right towards Salganset. Pass under the high-voltage power lines again and continue on the GR 62. Pass Salganset then Salgans and head towards Les Pouzes, still following the red and white markings.
(5) Cross the D73 near Les Pouzes and follow the GR 62 until you reach Bois du Bastit.
(6) Cross a wide track that leads to the wind turbines and continue on theGR®opposite, into the woods and down towards the D993. This path is also theGR® for the Grand Tour des Monts et Lacs du Lévézou.
(7) When you reach the D993, cross it and continue straight on theGR®62towards Le Bousquet.
Cross the farm straight ahead to find the small path that leads back down to the small road you took at the start.
(1) At the Cinque mill (lodge), turn left onto the small road, then 500 m further on, turn left again to find the town tour of Salles-Curan above.
Follow the path you took on the way there, alongside Square Eugène Viala, to return to the town hall (S/E).
