The return leg offers the opportunity to return to Bewdley; either under your own steam by walking back along the opposite bank of the river or by steam power utilising the historic Severn Valley Railway. Walk down Old Northwick Lane level and easy and down track to car park easy but sometimes uneven and muddy.

If you are in Worcester and you have some time to kill, this short, simple but refreshing walk is a fantastic way to do this. Though it is a lovely route to stroll along, I’m sure it is just as lovely to jog it or even cycle it. As it is short and relatively easy, it is also a good walk to do with children.

A short walk in the Shropshire Hills that provides some wonderful views. The Stiperstones have a rocky quartzite ridge and this provides a dramatic backdrop to the walk.

This Shropshire walk explores the countryside to the north of the Stiperstones. The route is generally on well marked paths and tracks. One of the highlights of the walk is the area known as the Hollies which is home to some of the oldest Holly trees in the UK, with some dating back over 400 years.
