The Gorges du Verdon and Lake Artignosc
A splendid hike starting from the Château de Saint-Laurent-Du-Verdon, which is private property. Do not enter the château grounds.
You will walk along forest paths, skirting part of the Verdon Gorge and part of Lake Artignosc, as well as magnificent green meadows and fields of lavender in bloom from mid-June to mid-July.
This is an easy hike, ideal for beginners and occasional walkers
Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon via the Château Chiron
A very pleasant route starting from Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon with views of the Verdon.
From the Valensole plateau to the Montpezat and Artignosc lakes
The area of Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon stretches from the riverbanks to the Valensole plateau. What a beautiful setting for a walk amidst the blue of the lavender fields and the blue of the lakes created by the construction of the Quinson dam. And if, on top of that, the sky is at its best, what a symphony of blues!
The Baudinard Gorges from Artignosc-sur-Verdon
A magnificent and spectacular canyon lined with sheer or overhanging cliffs 100 to 150 metres high, with gaps of around ten metres. This very wild canyon forms the first part of the Lower Verdon Gorges.The rock faces are pierced by numerous caves, the entrances to which can be seen from the bed of the Verdon, where the water flows out at a temperature of between 8 and 10°C from the dam (see § Practical Information).
Gorges and chapel of Baudinard-sur-Verdon
Hike along the Baudinard-sur-Verdon Gorges, on cliffs 100 to 150 m high plunging into turquoise blue water. Then return via the Museau de la Colline, offering numerous breathtaking views of the Lac de Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, to finally arrive at the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Baudinard with its belvedere overlooking the lake. Not to mention a visit to the village of Baudinard-sur-Verdon.

A pretty walk off the beaten path. The views are breathtaking in diverse landscapes, all from the beautiful little hilltop village of Artignosc-sur-Verdon.

This circular route starting at the bottom of Puimoisson will take you to the aerodrome. A great spot for gliding.Once you reach the heights, you’ll be treated to some beautiful views of the mountains.
