Park in the car park at the entrance to the "Venelle des aubépines" or Place Claude Robillot.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn left onto Rue de la Grande Fontaine heading north and reach the D116. Turn right onto Rue de Sus Amont (GR®®7). Leave the village and reach a three-way junction with a path on the right.
(1) Take this path to the right towards the woods. Follow the edge of the woods for a while and, when you reach the tarmac, continue straight on. Carry on along the track until you reach a three-way junction.
(2) Turn left between two fields and reach a fork at the end of them.
(3) Leave the GR® and turn left, follow the edge of the woodland on the left (Bois de Montmésange) and reach the fourth path on the right.
(4) Turn right onto this lane. Walk for about 300 m, pass a lane on the right, then turn left a few metres further on. After leaving the woods, head towards a path on the right.
(5) Take the path on the right, descend to the bottom of the valley and make the first turn right then left to climb up the opposite side. Ignore a path on the right and continue climbing until you reach a track.
(6) Follow it for a long way to the left, then continue along the tarmac. At the junction, keep left and head down to the first houses in Clémencey.
(7) At the first junction, walk past the cemetery and reach the end of the tarmac road once you’ve entered the forest.
(8) Turn left, then, after skirting a field for a short while, turn right. Head almost in a straight line and, after the left-hand bend, you’ll reach a fork.
(9) Turn right downhill into the valley and, when the slope levels out after about 200 m, turn left and head up this new valley until you reach a road.
(10) Follow it to the right; at the next three-way junction, keep left and at the following junction, turn right onto Rue de la Barre. Follow it to the end and arrive at Chambœuf (S/E).
