Maniquerville, Gerville and Les Loges circular

Park in the car park on the D11 opposite Maniquerville Castle.

(S/E) With your back to the château, turn right, pass the bus shelter and turn right onto Rue Henry Desprey. On your left is the Saint-Martin Church and a city park. Continue to the first intersection. Turn right, still on Rue Henry Desprey, and continue to the X-shaped intersection.

(1) Turn left onto Rue Thiboutot and take the second street on the right, Rue du Versant. Pass two X-shaped crossroads and continue to Saint-Michel Church, on the right-hand side in the village of Gerville.

(2) At the crossroads by the church, turn left onto Rue de la Liberté and then immediately take the first right onto Rue du Chant des Oiseaux, with the town hall and school on your right. At the end of the road, turn left onto the path and you will arrive at Rue des Mouettes. Follow this road to the left until it ends at a house.

(3) Continue along the path opposite, ignore a turn-off on the right and continue to Route des Loges. Turn right until you reach the first turn-off on the left.

(4) Turn left onto Impasse du Bois Hérault, ignore the first turn-off on the right and continue for about 800 metres.

(5) Turn right and follow the path for about 710 m until you reach the first turn-off on the right. Turn onto this path and continue until you reach a road, Rue du Hameau aux Chiens.

(6) Ignore Rue du Hameau aux Chiens on the right and continue straight ahead on Rue de la Brèche à Marie. Continue straight ahead until you reach the T-junction, Bourg du Village Les Loges, with the nursery school on your right.

(7) Cross the street at the pedestrian crossing, turn left, go around the Notre-Dame Church and the grocery store/bar on your right. Take the first street on the right until you reach the first intersection.

(8) Turn right and, at the next roundabout, continue straight ahead onto Rue de la Gare, with the former "Les Loges/Vaucottes-sur-Mer" station on your left. Continue straight ahead, pass a small earth mound and then, at the end, turn right and continue to the T-junction.

(9) Cross Route de Fécamp at the pedestrian crossing and turn left. Turn right at the first street, La Petite Rue. Continue for approximately 710 metres.

(10) Before the junction, turn into the first street on the left. A few metres further on, turn right onto the Vélo-route and follow it to the first X-junction.

(11) Turn right onto Rue de la Mare Sausseuze (D11). At the first X-shaped intersection, turn left onto Rue des Magnolias. Ignore a road on the right (it is a dead end) and turn right onto the next road, Rue du Chêne. Continue until you reach the D11.

(12) Turn left onto Rue des Hirondelles. Opposite the church, turn left onto Rue de la Liberté. At the next junction, follow the road to the right, D11, be careful as there is no pavement (follow the instructions for walking on country roads) and continue to the car park (S/E).

The D 11 departmental road is very busy and there are no pavements. Follow the guidelines for walking on country roads.

In the Bois Hérault, when it rains, the paths can be quite muddy and even flooded in places, but they are not impassable.

Saint-Martin Church in the village of Maniquerville is open to visitors.

Saint-Michel Church in the village of Gerville is closed and cannot be visited.
