Park in the Yport casino car park.
(S/E) Leave the car park and follow the beach along Boulevard Alexandre Dumont. At the first crossroads, turn right onto Rue Eugène Ebran and after a few metres, turn left onto Rue Alfred Nunes.
(1) Take Rue Casimir Vatinel on the right and follow it to the end.
(2) You will arrive at Rue Feuilloley. Walk all the way up this street, turning right at the junction with Rue Lethuiliier.
(3) Cross this street and continue straight ahead on Chemin des Quarante Acres. At the edge of the woods, you will come to Rue des Ferrières, which you should take on the left (you are now on theGR® 21B).
At the end of this street, you will come to a fork.
(4) Turn right, following the GR® markings. The road becomes a rutted path that descends into the Bois des Hogues woods. After 500 m, the path crosses another path. Turn right (leaving theGR®), walk along the Bois de Cherfils woods and you will arrive at the Chalet des Amis.
(5) Turn left onto Chemin du Bois des Hogues, which climbs gently. Once you reach the pastures, take the first path on your right and you will arrive at the Gros Chêne crossroads.
(6) Turn left onto Chemin de l'Étoile and quickly turn right onto Allée du Pas Pressé, which crosses a small road and runs alongside the housing estate to the D 211.
(7) Turn left onto the D 211, taking care to watch out for traffic. After 200 metres, you will come to a path on your right that leads across the fields. Take this path and you will see the sea ahead of you. At the end of the field, you will come to a fork and turn left. The path descends and is very rutted in places. You will arrive at a car park where you will find theGR® 21. A little further down, you will reach the end of the Valleuse de Vattetot and the sea. After a short break on the pebbles and a rather impressive view of recent cliff collapses downstream, go back a little and climb the steps on your left. Climb the fairly steep slope to reach the top of the cliff.
(8) Follow theGR® trail that branches off to the right along a fence. Do not continue straight ahead along the cliffs, as this is private property and there is a high risk of rockfalls.
(9) You will reach the Yport road, which you should take to the left. Leave the path to the chalets on your left and quickly rejoin theGR®21trail on your left. Continue until you reach the beach road. Take it to the right towards the south until you reach a junction with the D211.
(10) Cross this road carefully and rejoin theGR®21trail on your left, which continues and rejoins the D211 further on.
(11) Turn left and follow this road for about 250 metres, then continue right on theGR®21.
(12) Continue straight ahead and go down Rue Jean Helie. At the bottom, just after the casino, there is a small staircase on your left. Go down it and you will arrive at the car park (S/E).
