The walk starts from the sailing school car park, opposite Étang du Vorlen.
(S/E) If the tide level allows, head down to the beach via the path opposite the old sailing school, walk along the beach to the Coat Trédez stream, then head back up towards the road via the path at the other end and follow this road uphill (option shown on the map).
Alternatively, take the Route du Port, turn left between numbers 22 and 20 (Hent Gwaz ar Gouez) and continue up this road
(1) Turn left to walk along Notigou Beach. This road soon becomes the customs officers’ path, which also forms part of theGR®®34.
(2) Follow the path and pass Pointe du Dourven. Continue along the path hugging the coast, following theGR®®34signposts (red and white markers).
(3) Leave theGR®® by taking the path on the right. When it joins a track, take this track to the right to reach a road.
(4) Turn right (Hent Lann Kerralig) then, at the junction, turn left (Hent ar Vilin Awel).
(5) Turn right onto a track which, at first, heads due south. Continue along this track, skirting a field containing a standing stone, and carry on until you reach the road.
(6) Turn left, crossing the Coat Trédez stream once more. Pass through the hamlet of Kerdépot and continue due south along this road, going straight on at the junction.
(7) When you reach Porz ar C’hoat Huellan, take the path on the right and follow the bed of a stream that is dry in summer. Continue along this path.
(8) Go round the Kervan lodge by turning right and take the path on the left in front of the entrance to the private property. Cross the D88 and take the path directly opposite. This path curves first to the left then right before running alongside a football pitch and ending on a road.
(9) Turn left onto this road, then, after 50 metres, take the path on the right. At the end of this path, at a place called Kerespertz, turn left and carry on for 100 metres.
(10) At a left-hand bend, take the path on the right, then immediately turn left onto the narrower, grass-covered track. This leads to a wider path, which you follow by turning right to reach Kersalic Braz. At the hamlet, turn left and continue along the same track.
(11) At Lan Charlez, turn left. This street descends very steeply and ends in a path on the left; take this to join the customs officers’ path, which you’ll take on the right. You’ll then be on the Trédez cliffs.
Head northwards along the customs officers’ path to the Étang du Vorlen, where, by taking the path on the left, you’ll reach the car park (S/E).
