On the heights of Locquémeau

Park in the car park in front of the Kéravilin campsite.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, follow the road that runs alongside the campsite for about 100 m and turn left onto the path that runs alongside the Ruisseau de Coat Trédrez. Cross a footbridge, pass the retirement home on your right and continue straight ahead.

(1) Walk along the sports ground and go around the sports hall on the left. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and go up the path opposite, which joins Rue de l'École. Follow this street along the edge of the woods, pass the primary school on your left and you will come to the D88. Turn right and follow this road until you reach the first street on the left.

(2) Turn left and then almost immediately left again (Hent Kiriner) and continue to the next fork. Turn right into the cul-de-sac (Hent Dall Kiriner), which continues downhill via a pedestrian crossing, until you reach Rue Hent Kozh. Follow this road to the left, continuing downhill, until you reach Route du Port. Turn left here towards the library and post office.

(3) Take the pedestrian crossing on the right. At Rue du Palud, turn right, then left into a pedestrian passage between the houses to return to the same street. Follow it to the right, then turn left to cross the sports ground.

(1) Turn right along the stream, go around the sports hall again, cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and take the safe passage on the left, along this road. Climb towards the village of Locquémeau, in the bend, look for a fountain that deserves a better fate (June 2025) and you will arrive opposite the Church of Saint-Quémeau surrounded by its cemetery.

(4) At the fork, turn into Rue Hent Manach'ti, follow it downhill, continue left onto the next street and go to a crossroads.

(5) Turn left onto Rue du Cairn or Hent Garreg An Aour and continue to the end to discover the Dolmen de Roscouac'h, at the top of a cairn. Turn around and return to the fork.

(5) Turn left onto the first street, Impasse de Roscouac'h, and, just before the end of this street, look for a wooden staircase on the right that leads down to the Corniche de Notigou (you can turn right to access the beach). Turn left and follow the pedestrian crossing to descend to the car park (view of the Port of Locquémeau) (S/E).
