Simandre's three washhouses

From the village, head towards the hamlet of Le Molard via Route des Crozes and then Route du Molard. Continue along Route de la Cabane and then Route du Muguet as far as the car park by the pond. A sign indicating the various "Balades Vertes" trails in the commune marks the starting point of the walk.

(S/E) Go the opposite way from the pond, Route du Muguet, and turn left onto Route de la Cabane, then straight on at the junction with Route des Étangs Neufs. Pass between two ponds and continue to the junction with the D475, Route du Trésoir.

(1) Turn right and continue carefully for 700 m to the ^1st road on the left at a crossroads.

(2) Turn left onto this Route des Gouilles and continue for 500 m.

(3) Turn left onto the^1st gravel path just after the group of houses. Continue on this gravel path through the forest. Pass by the Gouilles washhouse and go as far as the next tarmac road.

(4) Turn left onto Route du Moulin des Bordes and continue for 500 m.

(5) Turn right onto the ^1st street. Continue to the next intersection, turn left and continue on Route du Champ des Cours until you reach the D475, Route de Loisy.

(6) Turn right and continue carefully for 500 m until you reach the bend.

(7) Turn left onto the main gravel path for 1.5 km until you reach the starting point for the washhouse (S/E).

Joint start with another signposted trail, SI5, the Moulin du Roy circuit. There is a small car park and a picnic table. Trainers or light hiking shoes are sufficient. This trail is signposted with directional signs (SI4) and yellow paint.

The trail passes through lanes with an alternating landscape of woods and meadows. There are numerous small ponds. You can complement this walking trail with the other green walks in the municipality, signposted SI1, SI2, SI3 and SI5, or with the heather moor interpretation trail.
