(S) From the Hotel Les Rosalys, return to the Route de la Dent de Lys.
(1) Turn left (west) and cross the village of Les Paccots until you reach the Hotel Ermitage. Look for the start of a small road on the left.
(2) Turn left onto Route des Joncs. Pass the hamlet of Les Verollys and continue to an intersection. Leave Route des Joncs, which leads to the inn of the same name, and continue south between a car park and the Joncs ski lift. Follow Chemin de Guedères for about 250 m until you reach the start of a path on the right (signpost no. 3)
(3) Turn right and continue until you reach a small road. Keep heading south on this small road. Leave it when it turns east.
(4) Take the path on the right and head south-west towards the Fégire footbridge.
(5) Take the footbridge over the Veveyse de Fégire to leave the canton of Fribourg and enter the canton of Vaud. Continue south, join a small road, cross it and keep heading south for about 250 m to rejoin the same road.
(6) Take this road until you reach the intersection with Chemin de Fontanna David.
(7) Now head west-southwest on this path, which, after the place called Les Cergnettes, becomes Chemin des Mossettes.
(8) At the intersection, turn right towards the north, pass in front of the Mossettes refreshment bar, then head west, ignore a path on the right, cross a stream and watch out for the start of a path on the left (signpost no. 3).
(9) Head south-west, then south, cross the Marais des Tenasses to reach the Motalles car park.
(10) Follow the Route de Laly south, cross the hamlet and the railway line and reach a fork at a place called L'Aplayau.
(11) Take the Sentier des Pléïades (signposted) and return to a level crossing just before the small MRV railway station (Transports Montreux-Vevey-Riviera) in Fayaux.
(12) Cross the railway line and stay on the Sentier des Pléiades. Stay on this path until you reach the Hotel Le Signal.
(13) When you reach the hotel, look for the start of the Chemin du Signal on your left (signpost No. 3 and Chemin du Signal). Start descending towards the west. Ignore the first path on the left. Rejoin the Route des Pléiades at Prélaz sur Blonay. At the intersection with this road, turn left towards the south and after less than 50 m you will come to a small passage on the rack railway.
(14) Cross the railway line with caution, continue along Chemin des Chameilles, then Ruelle de Coyonnex until you reach a roundabout. Head west onto Route de Saint-Légier. Pass a car park and stop just before the railway line.
(15) Follow the railway line, passing the "Château de Blonay" and "La Chiesaz" stations, then take a short detour along the Sentier de la Scie to the "Saint Ligier-Village" station. Cross and leave the railway line, then take the Chemin de Chamoyron to reach the Café du Centre.
(16) Heading north-west, take Rue des Epélévoz, then turn left onto Chemin des Jacquerodes. At a crossroads, turn left onto Route de Fenil, follow this road, cross the motorway and continue to a SPA refuge just before the bridge over the Veveyse.
(17) Just before the bridge and at a small car park, take the path on the right that passes under the bridge. Follow the path overlooking the Veveyse river, passing under the motorway twice. You will come out on the Chemin de Champ de Ban.
(18) Head west on Chemin de Champ de Ban, which becomes Route de Chatillon at a crossroads. Continue on this road until you reach another crossroads with a main road. Turn onto Chemin du Frâne and continue to the Hôtel du Léman.
(19) Continue west, follow Chemin Rouge and, after a roundabout, take Route de Bellevue. You will reach the start of Chemin de la Chenalette just opposite a winegrower's house.
(20) Descend through the vineyards and rejoin the funicular line (Vevey - Mont Pélerin). Follow the track, then shortly after the Beau Site station, take a path that leads to Rue du Village. Turn left, cross over the funicular track. Continue eastwards and take Rue du Cyprès to reach the main road at a crossroads and a petrol station. Cross Route de Châtel-Saint-Denis and take Route de Corseaux just after the petrol station. After about 100 metres, you will reach Chemin de Meruz on the right.
(21) Take Chemin de Meruz to the Vevey funicular station.
(22) Return to the Route de Châtel-Saint-Denis, follow it south, pass under the two railway bridges, and take Avenue du Général Guisan to reach the Vevey SBB/CFF railway station (E).
