Arriving in Elizondo on the N121, follow a series of traffic circles around the town. Turn right at the 4th traffic circle, towards Lekaroz. The car park is on the right as you enter the hamlet.
(S/E) From the car park, head North on the asphalt road.
(1) Turn right, then left about 50 m further on, and continue North until you reach a fork in the road.
(2) Leave the road on the left and follow a wide track to a four-way junction.
(3) Leave the wide track by turning right, and follow a path which climbs due North through undergrowth.
(4) Continue to the right and reach an asphalt road. Follow it to the left for a few dozen mothers, then leave it on the right for a shortcut that takes you back to the road above.
(5) Turn right to follow this road, which quickly turns North-West, and reaches a fork in the road.
(6) Go left (South) on the asphalt road, then turn right to head North again. Take care to stay on course, leaving behind the various cross-country paths.
(7) Leave the road by turning left into the undergrowth and descend until you find a track.
(8) Follow the track towards the South, then South-West.
(9) Fork left, keep left at the crow's-foot and continue to a marked right-hand bend.
(10) Go straight ahead to follow a path that climbs due South and then heads West along the ridge. Continue to the summit of Legate (870 m).
(11) Head due South to the calvary below, then descend South-East towards Lekaroz, following the stages of the Way of the Cross indicated by stone markers.
(12) Turn left, heading South-East, and follow this direction to reach the car park in the hamlet of Lekaroz (S/E).
