By car: from France, head for Aïnhoa and cross the border at Dantxaria. Continue on the N-121-B.
Climb to the Otxondo pass. 500 m further on, turn right onto the NA-4453 for about 10 km and
reach the Etxebertzeko Borda restaurant car park.
(S/E) From the car park, take the path signposted Infernuko Errota (Hell's Mill).
(1) At the fork in the road, turn left onto Infernuko Errota.
(2) Go left, back and forth, to the mill and visit it. Retrace your steps.
(2) Climb left to continue along the path (green and white markings).
(3) Approx. 1.5 km further on, at a crossroads, turn right, leaving the Green & White markings. 200 m further on, turn left and climb this track, turning right at the next fork.
(4) After 800 m, take the right-hand hairpin bend.
(5) 10 m before a left-hand bend, you'll come across a remarkable pollarded oak trunk, and turn left-all before this bend in the track. Go straight ahead at a crossroads. Reach a plateau.
(6) At this plateau-crossing with a large cistern, turn right at right-angles.
Take care to leave the 1st track on your right.
(7) Reach the GR®11 and follow it to the right. Leave a track on the right. Continue on the GR®.
(8) At an imposing tree marked GR®11, leave this track and turn right, due South.
(9) Continue left, passing 60m above a small farm (see explanation in practical info). Continue on this track.
(10) The track overhangs the road, continue straight ahead.
(11) Downhill, just before reaching the Lizardiko farm, turn left along the fence. On this descent, look out for the lime kilns.
(1) Rejoin the Moulin d'Enfer path taken on the outward journey and continue left to the car park (S/E).
