(S/E) The start is opposite the church in Bagneux. Take the road leading south-east out of the village (marked withyellow rectangles for the PR® or yellow and red for the GRP® de Valençay).
After 100 m, you will see the old buildings of Vernusse Abbey on your left.
after 100 metres, take the grassy path on the right (not marked).
Turn left at the next intersection, then after 400 m, leave a path on the right to reach a new intersection. Take the path on the left (yellow circle) which joins a road. Follow it for 50 m to reach the small standing stones of Les Bruyères on the right.
(1) Retrace your steps and turn right into a wood (yellow circle). After 200 m, you will see the Pierre à Fusil (a rock with a cavity) hidden in the ferns.
Continue along the path to reach an old renovated farmhouse in a place called Margot: turn left (not signposted).
(2) 50 metres further on, follow the yellow-red GRP® markings on the right.
Cross the footbridge over the Fouzon, then climb up towards the hamlet of Bué.
(3) Take the small road on the right towards the Pierre Couverte de Bué dolmen, which will be on your right after a 200m climb.
(4) After admiring the dolmen, climb up the small road on the right for 50 metres to enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding meadows, where you can see imposing stones, the remains of megaliths.
Go back down the road towards Bué.
(3) Take the road on the right to cross the hamlet of Bué, following theyellow rectangle PR® markings. Follow the markings, turning right onto a road, then continue straight ahead onto a path that crosses the pastures. On the left, you can see the Bellevue standing stone.
(5) At the next intersection, go down the path on the left.
(6) After 250 metres, turn left onto a private road, taking care to close the wire gate behind you: walk back and forth to get a closer look at the Pierre Levée menhir.
On your return, do not follow the yellow rectangle markings on the left, but take the path opposite, to the north-east, which leads to the Bellevue farm. Then turn left to go down the small road.
Cross the D31b departmental road and continue straight ahead on the path that leads to the Pierre Folle site (outside the PR®).
(7) Take advantage of the picnic area to have something to eat. Return to the D31b and turn right.
Once you have passed two bridges over the Fouzon, turn right (yellow rectangle sign) to cross the hamlet of Boisy and continue.
(8) When you reach Les Bruyères, turn right down to the ford crossing the Fouzon, then turn back and, after a right/left turn, continue along a grassy path on the PR®® trail.
Turn left at the next intersection: the path climbs up to a place called La Croix Verte.
(9) Take the D31b on the right, then cross the village of Bagneux and return to the starting point (S/E).
