Park on Rue de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, near no. 76. Take care not to obstruct traffic, pedestrians or vehicles.
(S/E) Follow Rue de Compostelle eastwards and ignore the side streets on the right. You will come out onto the D131; first turn left then right to take the Chemin des Pérolières. After about 150 m, at the right-hand bend, take the path on the left which climbs steeply. Turn right at the first junction and join the Route du Vanau
(1) Follow the road to the left and turn left with it. When the road turns left again, take the second path on the right and continue uphill. At the fork, continue along the left-hand branch. Pass under a high-voltage power line and continue through the Bois de la Limone.
(2) At the junction, turn right and head back down towards the Bois Canard. Ignore the paths and track branching off to the right. Continue along the track. At the next junction, where the track turns left, at around 370 m, take a path on the right, heading south-west. Pass the point with an altitude of 365 and head back down to the next junction, just after the power line.
(3) Take the first path on the left, continue downhill, cross the junction, and head straight on along the Chemin du Guillomier. Pass by the houses on the left.
(4) Just after the inverted Y-junction, turn right onto Chemin de la Gavine. At the next junction, turn right opposite the buildings (silo) onto Chemin de la Pompe à Vent and continue for about 120 m.
(5) Turn right and walk past the farm on the right. Continue between the fields and, just after the long poultry buildings, turn left at the Y-junction. Cross the D13 and continue towards the hamlet of Les Brosses opposite.
(6) At the junction in the hamlet, just before the houses on the left, turn right onto Chemin du Lac. After about 400 m, the path curves to the right.
(7) At the junction, turn left. Stay on the path until the end of a curve of about 90° to the right, at the edge of the woods.
(8) At the junction (with a copse opposite), turn right along the edge of the woods for 30 m and enter the woods. Continue until you reach a junction about 350–400 m further on, then turn right at the next junction. Carry on until you exit the woods at the edge and walk for about 100 metres.
(9) Turn left onto the main road and follow it for about 900 m (Rue du Stade). Pass the tennis court to reach a crossroads in Assieu.
(10) Take thesecond street on the left, Rue des Clursons. After about 250 m, leave the street and turn right onto a path between the fields. Continue straight on until you reach a T-junction.
(11) Turn right into the copse and then pass under the high-voltage power line. Join Rue de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle and follow it back to the starting point (S/E).
