Park near the leisure centre.
(S/E) Head upstream from the lakes, heading west, and leave the site via a wooded path running alongside the D753.
(1) Take care when crossing the D753a. Turn right, walk for about 50 metres, then turn left to walk alongside the D753 on your right.
(2) Take the road on the left. Further on, ignore the path branching off to the left, then turn right onto a well-shaded track and continue to the farm and the mobile phone mast.
(3) Turn right, heading north. Take care when crossing the D753, then continue straight ahead to the crossroads (elevation 54).
(4) Ignore the alternative route on the right and continue straight ahead. Turn right onto the road for 50m and continue left along the wide path that runs alongside the forest to reach Belle Vue, a solitary house.
(5) Cross the road, continue straight ahead along the edge of the forest for about 500m, then turn right. Cross another road and head towards the one leading to La Tercerie.
(6) First turn left then right to take the path that has been cleared through woods and meadows to reach the hamlet without following the road. Then head up to the left until you reach the road, follow it to the right for 50m, then go behind the houses and carry straight on to reach the Morlière crossroads.
(7) Turn right onto a farm track which, further on, makes a 90° right-hand bend and joins a small road.
(8) Turn left, cross the bridge – which sometimes offers lovely reflections – and immediately turn right towards the hamlet of La Guenisière.
(9) Continue to the right to La Bourrie, then turn left to reach the industrial estate.
(10) Turn right and walk carefully alongside the D178, then turn right before the roundabout, staying on the edge of the estate.
(11) Turn left, go under the D753 and immediately turn right towards the Paradis lakes. Head up to the left.
(12) As you walk along the upper section (former quarry), enjoy the view of the three lakes. After the descent, cross the river via the small monolithic bridge to return to the starting point (S/E).
