Park in the small car park in the village of La Touche, near the market halls and the church.
(S/E) Take the small road (Chemin de Margerie) running alongside the church, heading south.
(1) At the last house, turn right onto a small path between the pine trees.
(2) Stay on the path, keeping to the right, then join a forest track. Follow it to the right for a few dozen metres.
(3) Turn left onto a path that descends gently to the hamlet of Moulin de Bay: viewpoint over the Citelles valley.
(4) Turn left and follow the stream.
(5) Cross the ford and then continue left along the stream. Take the footbridges and reach the hamlet of Citelles.
(6) Cross it, turning left towards the north-east. Take a path above that climbs up to the plateau, in the heart of the lavender fields.
(7) At the junction of several tracks, go around the lavender field by turning right, then at the next junction, turn left to join the forest track.
(8) Continue straight ahead, then bear right and stay right at the Y-shaped intersections. The path descends and then climbs again until it reaches the Serre Pointu ridge.
(9) Turn left. Pass north of the Frangerouge house, cross the pipeline track to reach the path on the other side. Come out onto a track suitable for vehicles and follow it to the right for about 300 m.
(10) Turn right onto a single-track trail marked by a small cairn. The trail descends towards La Touche, offering panoramic views of the stone village and the Valdaine plain.
(11) At the bottom of the descent, rejoin the Chemin de Chaix and follow it to the left to return to the car park (S/E).
