Description of the walk

Park in the visitor car park at the Pôle du Cheval et de l'Âne north of Lignières on the D219.

(S/E) Head towards the lodge village on the left, then turn left onto the D219 and follow it for about 100 metres. Take the first path on the left, which will take you past the lodge village once again.
At the end of the track, you’ll reach a crossroads; take the small tarmac road directly opposite.
On your left, you will see a pond.
Continue straight on until you reach the Grange Vert junction and turn right, following the sign for Brandes de Feuilloux. Take the path on the right to reach a crossroads marked by a wayside cross.

(1) Turn left and walk along the edge of a pond. Then continue along a virtually straight stretch. Turn slightly right to reach the hamlet of Champménard. Turn left in the hamlet to reach a crossroads.

(2) Take it to the right, then at the next crossroads, leave the path leading to Les Cordillats. Continue slightly to the left on the D129 to reach another crossroads marked by a wayside cross.

(3) Continue straight ahead on the D129 towards La Celle-Condé. Walk past the cemetery to reach La Celle-Condé. Take the second street, Rue de l’Ancienne Gare, on the left after the sign for La Celle-Condé. You’ll arrive at Place du Puits, opposite the priory church.

(4) First turn left then right to reach the open-air theatre on the banks of the River Arnon.

(5) Retrace your steps.

(4) Continue straight on along the D129 and pass the town hall of La Celle-Condé. Carry on and, on leaving the village, you will come to a crossroads marked by a cross.

(6) Leave the D219 here and turn right onto a small road; carry on, ignoring all the turnings to the right and left, to return to the initial crossroads you passed on the way there.

(1) From there, follow the route back in the opposite direction to return to the car park at the Pôle du Cheval et de l'Âne (S/E).
