Description of the walk

The walk starts at the Lignières fairground, where you can easily park and have a picnic (tables are available).

(S/E) With your back to the fairground, take the lane called La Traverse Oubliée to the right of the shop À La Bonne Cave, then turn right onto Rue Barbensois. Just past the care home, turn left onto Rue Roger Pearron.

(1) At the first junction, take the second path on your right (the first one ends in a meadow), towards the château’s vineyards.

(2) Walk past an old hut and take the first path on the right, then veer off to the right again.

(3) At the next crossroads, take the path on the left, then continue along the first path on the right, which leads you out onto a road facing the lake.
Walk round it clockwise, crossing the D61 and continuing to your left, along the lake.

(4) When you come out of the lake, return to the D61 and turn left; then, opposite the cemetery, turn right onto Ruelle aux Veaux.

(5) Return to Rue Barbensois on your left and, continuing straight ahead, you’ll reach the fairground (S/E).
