(S) Departure from the church square in Lalœuf Puxe (car park). Take the road towards Vitrey (D51) until you reach the pond.
(1) Take the path on the left after the pond. Leave a path on the right and rejoin the road.
(2) Turn right and enter Souveraincourt. Pass Rue du Han on your right and Rue de l'Ecorchoir on your left, then continue to the next crossroads.
(3) Take Rue de la Feuillée on the left, towards Ferme de la Feuillée (signposted). Continue to the next crossroads and turn right. Continue straight ahead, passing a path on your right, and follow the sign for Rond Rouge. When you reach a crossroads, you will see Ferme de la Feuillée opposite you.
(4) Turn right towards Rond Rouge, continue for 300 metres, then turn left (Rond Rouge sign, Rond Orange SB5) and continue along the path until you reach a three-way intersection at the entrance to the woods (Le Métay).
(5) At the intersection of three paths (admire the scenery), turn right (Rond Rouge) and continue along the path. Further on, at a fork, take the left-hand path.
(6) At the end of the path, turn left and after 140 metres turn left again. Continue down the path to the Faviéres leisure centre.
(7) Look at the Faviéres leisure centre, turn left then right and join the road towards Gelaucourt. Turn left until you reach the farm.
(8) Opposite the farm, turn left, follow the path uphill and enter the woods straight ahead. When you cross the main path (near a crossroads you passed on the way there), turn right. Leave the woods and continue along the path that crosses a clearing.
(9) Turn left at a bend and head towards the forest via a small footpath in the middle of the clearing (marked with red and white tape in October/November 2016). The footpath widens to become a forest track.
(10) After walking 800 metres through the forest, turn right, walk 1 km and turn left. You have now arrived at Lalœuf Puxe (Place de l'Église).
