Description of the walk

The walk starts at the church in Chaouilley; there is a car park next to the wash house.

(S/E) Facing the church, turn left onto the D53 as you leave the village. At the wayside cross, continue straight on along the D58 towards Thorey Lyautey.

(1) Take the second path on the left, Chemin de Dommarie, go round the S-bend and join a small road. At the small road, turn left.

(2) At the next junction, take the small road on the right and carry on straight ahead. Cross the bridge over the Maillot and, at the end of the road, turn left onto the D56. At the Y-junction at the entrance to the village, keep left.

(3) At the next junction, turn right onto the D56A and enter the village of Domarie-Eulmont. Carry on straight ahead along Rue du Breuil, pass the fountain and the wayside cross, and keep going straight on. After passing through the village, carry on straight ahead along the small road.

(4) In the dip, take the first small road on the right, following the Brénon. At the entrance to the village of Dommarie, turn right at the well.

(5) At the end of the road, opposite the church, turn left onto Rue des Tilleuls; at the wayside cross, turn right at a 90° angle and, on leaving the village, turn left towards Thorey-Lyautey and carry on straight ahead on the D56 until you reach the D58.
