Starting point and access: Le Vésinet-Le Pecq station.
- RER - Line A, on the section between Paris and Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Take exit 2, Avenue Georges Bizet.
No signposts
(S) At the top of the stairs leading out of the station, go straight ahead and pass a bus stop. Walk along the railway line on your right, then turn left onto the avenue. At the crossroads, turn left into a one-way street. After No. 13, turn right, pass a chain and follow a wide grassy path, Avenue Médéric (signposted further on). Cross a street (church on the left) and continue along the path.
(1) At the end of the path, turn right. Cross the avenue at the pedestrian crossing on the left and continue straight ahead into Rue Ciculaire. Atthe firststop sign, go straight ahead. Atthe second stop sign, first turn right then left onto Rue du Printemps. Atthe thirdstop sign, continue straight ahead. At the end of the street (fourthstop sign), cross the boulevard at the pedestrian crossing and you will reach the banks of the Seine.

(2) Then turn right, follow theGR®2on a stabilised path parallel to the boulevard and walk along the Seine on your left. Pass under a railway bridge (narrowing of the path) and continue on the stabilised path. When the boulevard ends in a dead end, continue on the stabilised path through a wooded area. Go straight ahead, ignoring all the paths on the right.
(3) Pass under the A14 motorway bridge and walk along the fence of Parc de la Circulaire on your right. Further on, walk along a wetland area.
(4) Take a concrete footbridge over a stream and continue straight ahead on the path.
(5) At the tarmac, take a footpath as close as possible to the Seine and follow a cycle path and Quai George Sand on your right. Further on, continue along the footpath along Quai du Pecq.
(6) Pass under the Sartrouville railway bridge via the cycle path. About 150 metres further on, rejoin a paved footpath along the banks of the Seine. Pass under a road bridge, back onto the cycle path, then rejoin the footpath.
(7) At the traffic lights located shortly after a bus stop, turn right, cross Quai Pierre Brunel at the pedestrian crossing and walk along Place de la Fête on your right. At the roundabout, turn left at the corner of a secondary school. At the stop sign, continue straight ahead along Rue de La Frette. Pass the Val d'Oise department sign.
(8) Pass the sign marking the entrance to Cormeilles-en-Parisis. Continue straight ahead along a street with roadworks on either side.
(9) At the foot of the sign for La Frette-sur-Seine, turn right onto Chemin des Mardelles. Go up this good path through the woods and pass under a high-voltage power line. At the three-way junction located at the top of the hill, turn left and follow a flat path.
No markings
(10) After a few houses, at number 16, turn right onto a tarmac road. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead onto Avenue Jean Mermoz. At the end, turn left onto Rue Jean Charcot. Then take thefirst right onto Rue de Metz.
(11) At the crossroads, cross Rue de Verdun and follow Boulevard d'Alsace opposite. Continue straight ahead, ignoring the side roads, and note the modern chapel on the right. At the end, turn left.
(12) At the crossroads, cross at the pedestrian crossing and follow Vieux Chemin de Sartrouville (no motorised vehicles) opposite. At the end, cross the boulevard at the pedestrian crossing and follow it to the left. After about 100 metres, turn right into the underpass leading to Cormeilles-Parisis station (E).
To return home:
- Transilien - Line J, towards Conflans and Mantes-la-Jolie (1staccess, platforms B and C) or Paris-Saint-Lazare (2ndaccess, platform A).
