At the entrance to Arvieux, near the cemetery, take the D502 on the right towards Les Maisons. Park at the entrance to the hamlet of Les Maisons in the designated car park.
(S/E) Walk through the hamlet; at the crossroads by the wash house, keep left and continue to the end of the tarmac road.
(1) Continue along theGR®®5, marked in white and red. Begin an easy climb, with a few hairpin bends, and arrive at a crossroads of tracks.
(2) Keep right on theGR®, head to the southern tip of the lake, then turn left to follow the eastern shore and reach the picnic tables.
(3) Follow the northern shore, then turn left onto the track to return to the junction you passed earlier.
(2) Take the track on the right, which is the Route du Lac de Roue. Follow the almost level path to reach the Serre crossroads.
(4) Leave the track here and turn left, heading downhill and following the Torrent du Pellas. Continue on and, via a series of hairpin bends, join the Route des Maisons at a hairpin bend. Take this to the left to quickly reach the Maisons car park (S/E).
