From Arvieux, climb up to the hamlet of La Chalp, then turn right onto the forest track towards Lac de Roue. Park in the Lac de Roue car park.
(S/E) Walk along the lake, then at the signpost for the hiking trails, take the track towards La Chalp. You will reach a crossroads atthe second bend.
(1) Leave the track and take the path on the right. This path runs alongside the old Arvieux Canal. Walk along this canal to reach its source at the confluence with the Torrent de Souliers.
(2) Cross the footbridge and turn right onto the wide track. Follow it downhill to reach the tarmac road to Souliers at the Saint-Pierre Chapel.
(3) Take this road opposite to reach the traditional village of Souliers. You will come to a fountain at the southern entrance to the village. The path ends at a road that runs alongside the Torrent de Souliers. Take this road to the right towards Souliers.
(4) Return via the same route to the Saint-Pierre Chapel at the northern entrance to the village.
(3) Turn left onto the road that descends towards the Torrent de Souliers.
At thefirst intersection, continue on the road that veers away from the torrent. Stay on this road to return to the Lac de Roue car park (S/E).
