Starting point: Le Désert in Tours-en-Savoie, car park under the storage area.
(S/E) Follow Chemin de la Cour, a paved road, ideal for a good warm-up, and pass the wash house junction. Follow Route de la Pierrière until you reach a Y-junction.
(1) Follow the track on the right and you will reach an intersection.
(2) Follow the uphill path and ignore the path on the right that leads to the Chapelle Saint-Clément. After a steady climb, you will reach a crossroads.
(3) Turn sharply right towards Les Déberts and Le Mont. The climb remains steep. Pass the Grangette chalet, then the Roche Étroite junction and continue towards Le Mont until you reach a junction.
(4) Descend to the left towards Le Mont and Champ-Blaire and you will reach a crossroads. Follow the path uphill on the right, pass the Champ-Blaire chalet and continue along this long path until you reach the village of Le Mont.
(5) Cross the village, follow the road and you will reach the start of the path on the right.
(6) Follow the path uphill to the right to reach the ramparts of the fort.
(7) Follow the path on the right below the ramparts that goes around the fort and arrive at the entrance. Continue around the fort and return to the entrance to the village of Le Mont.
(5) Take the path downhill on the right towards Champ Facholaz and arrive at this crossroads.
(8) Cross the road and go down the path to reach the road at Le Bettex. At the junction with the road, turn left onto the road and arrive at the junction below the old Reidier school.
(9) Follow the road on your left, then the track that leads to Lacha and pass the chalet (old sawmill). Continue along the track, passing the woodpiles and a reservoir. Ignore the track on your left and continue until you reach the path on the left with a sign for Palatieux les Déberts.
(10) Continue left along this path to reach a crossroads.
(11) Follow the path downhill to the right of Palatieux and you will reach the Muradoran crossroads after the chalets.
(12) Turn left towards Saforin, follow the path and return to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(3) Then follow the route in reverse to reach the bottom of the descent at an intersection you passed on the way there.
(2) Turn left towards the Saint-Clément Chapel and cross the canal to reach the junction on the dyke.
(13) Descend towards the dyke, cross the track next to the power station, continue along the dyke and return to the starting point (S/E).
