Town centre car park "Le Clos des Bateliers".
(S/E) When you leave the car park, turn left and then right onto Rue des Fusillés. When you reach the Rhône, turn left. Follow the quay southwards to Square Henri Frenay, which has benches and a children's playground.
(1) Leave the road and continue along the Rhône. Pass in front of the "Moly Sabata" house, a former boatmen's inn. This house was one of the first to be flooded in the event of high water, hence its name, which means "wet slipper". It is home to the Albert Gleizes Foundation, named after the painter in 1927. Continue until you reach the street on the right.
(2) Leave the tarmac road at a fork on the right and continue to follow the river. The path joins the ViaRhôna (cycle path), which you follow in a south-easterly direction. The river passes through a weir. A specially designed area allows you to discover the wildlife on a branch of the river.
(3) On your left, you will see a housing estate behind the forest. Before reaching the lock road, take the dirt track on the right. A large rock blocks access to vehicles. Continue south until you pass under the railway bridge. About ten metres further on, take the path that climbs left towards the railway line. There is a pedestrian crossing along the track. Cross the Rhône. Once you reach the opposite bank, go down the path on the left. At the crossroads, turn left to pass under the railway bridge. From here, head north-west, following the main path along the Rhône.
(4) Cross the Ruisseau de Moure stream. Continue up the Rhône and pass in front of the jousting ponds. When you reach the Pont de Serrières bridge, take the pedestrian crossing to cross the river again. Continue to the junction with Rue Gustave Toursier, then turn right to return to the car park (S/E).
