Parking: park in the Fontaine de Fontestorbes car park (on the D9), which has been moved 200 metres along the D9.
(S/E) Opposite the car park, look for a path that starts on the other side of the road. Take care when crossing.
(1) Take it on the left and climb up into the forest until you reach the D16.
(2) Follow this road (D16) to the right for 350 m until you reach the start of a new path.
(3) Take this marked path on the right, which makes a 180° turn. Cross the hamlet of Rieufourcant and then reach the hamlet of Couquet.
(4) There, follow the road to the right for 30 metres, then turn right again onto a tree-lined path heading south. Cross a forest. You will reach a first chasm on the left.
(5) Follow the markings (eastbound) to reach the hamlet of Le Château. Find a carriage road that passes in front of a wash house and turn left to join the D16.
(6) Cross the road and take the path opposite, which climbs northwards (still signposted) to Caillol d'en Haut.
(7) Continue right around the hairpin bend to Trou des Corbeaux. Access is facilitated (stairs, rope for a handrail). A metal footbridge allows you to look down into the chasm.
(8) Turn back 50 metres and continue on the marked path to the left to reach Gélat.
(9) Return to the tarmac road and continue to the next hairpin bend (Route du Gelat).
(10) Leave the road and take the path on the right at the bend (marked), passing in front of the Bois Joli area. Continue east-northeast until you reach another intersection.
(11) Take the path on the left towards Croix de Millet. Go around Prat Laura and continue to the crossroads at elevation 780.
(12) Take the path on the left to reach a new crossroads, which provides access to Croix de Millet.
(13) Take the path opposite to reach the cross overlooking the valley. Caution for those prone to vertigo.
(14) Return to the previous crossroads.
(13) Turn right and continue south-east on the marked path to reach the Ruisseau de Millet.
(15) Follow the stream, keeping to the right. Descend to the hamlet of Bicharole. Turn left, following the markings through the hamlet to reach the D16, where you will turn right and continue for 400 metres to reach a reservoir in a hairpin bend.
(16) Leave the road by turning left onto the path. Descend towards the D9 and the Fontaine de Fontestorbes.
(17) Return to the car park (S/E).
