The Roche Solaire Sculpture Trail – Part Two

To reach the Abri au Sanglier, first head to the Wisches National Cemetery, accessible via Rue de la Gosse in Hersbach, then follow the forest road westwards for about 2.5 km.

(S/E) Take the unmarked path through the woods behind the shelter. Continue to the junction with the forest road.

(1) Head left to quickly find the^first sculpture on the left, *Ombres*. Continue on to reach a Y-junction.

(2) Turn right and follow the ‘Yellow Saltire’ signposts along the Kohlberg Forest Road. You’ll come to a right-angled bend.

(3) Keep to the right on the track, passing the Kohlberg Shelter, to reach the junction at the foot of the Petit Donon, where the^second sculpture, *Le Centaure*, stands in the middle of the junction.

(4) Turn left at almost 180°, continuing along the Kohlberg Forest Road (RF), now signposted with a Yellow Triangle. You will then reach the^third sculpture, *La Serrure Solaire*, situated on the right.

(5) Stay on the RF, then ignore the path leading uphill to the right and continue down the slope to the left. Carry on until you reach the junction with a small footpath.

(6) Leave the RF and head down to the left into the forest along this small path. Follow it to the forest track at the bottom of the descent. Ignore the path continuing straight ahead and carry on to the right along this unmarked track to reach the^fourth sculpture, La Voile Solaire.

(7) Turn left again and stay on this Route Forestière du Plan Sable, marked with a Red Disc. You’ll reach another junction where the^fifth sculpture, Dedans-Dehors, is located.

(8) Continue along this track to reach the Y-junction you passed earlier.

(2) Retrace your steps along the route you took on the way there to return to the Abri au Sanglier car park (S/E).
