How to get to the starting point: by car from the D1420 or Lutzelhouse station, head towards the village centre. On your right, you will see the ‘Abrapa’ care home. When you reach the crossroads (with the town hall on your right), cross it, follow Rue de la Fontaine, then Rue de la Forêt. At the edge of the forest, the road is no longer tarmac. On your right is a hunting lodge; follow this road for 700 m to reach the car park near Place des Musiciens.
(S/E) From the square, follow the sign for “Chêne de la Vierge” (do not turn right towards Green Ring – Yellow Ring) by taking the path starting opposite the memorial stone. After 200 m, follow the Green Ring markings to the Chêne de la Vierge, continuing straight ahead. The first sculpture, “Les Têtes”, is opposite the Chêne de la Vierge. Continue on to the next star-shaped junction: the Kegelplatz junction.
(1) Turn left onto the Route Forestière des Pionniers and you will reach the Carrefour du Sentier Blanc.
(2) Continue along the main forest road on the left, the "Kappelbronn", marked with a white-barred Rectangle, until you reach thesecond sculpture, "Y". From the sculpture, keep right on the path marked with a white-barred Rectangle towards the Schliffstein Refuge.
(3) At the refuge, turn right at the hairpin bend, following the Red Ring markings, and you will reach a viewpoint.
(4) Turn right, then left. Continue straight on at the next junction, then turn right towards the La Porte de Pierre statue, located at the Carrefour du Partage.
(5) Take the second track on the left towards Kegelplatz. Then keep right on the path marked with the Green Ring and return to the Kegelplatz crossroads.
(1) Take the second forest track on the right and return to the starting point (S/E).
