Park in the Launes car park at Col Sainte-Anne, near the chapel of the same name.
No signposts
(S/E) Go to marker 33 and go straight up Chemin des Bassins. At the end of the street, continue up the stairs and then along the path that passes near a pond.
Turn slightly to the right to go around a second basin.
Once in the valley, climb up and veer left towards the cairns to find a path marked with yellow markings.
Yellow markings
(1) Follow this path, which climbs gently and offers interesting views of Valberg, to reach marker 34a. Continue along the path that enters the larch forest.
Cross the stream and continue climbing gradually to Lac de Beuil, which has no spillway.
(2) At marker 37, located above the lake, turn right towards Tête du Garnier and follow the ridge path.
After a gentler stretch, you will arrive at Tête de l'Ubac, a beautiful viewpoint.
Continue on the yellow-marked trail that climbs to Tête du Garnier.
(3) From the summit, descend eastwards, following the few blue markers on the trail route, then enter the forest and reach an old path that descends east-northeast. The yellow markings are scarce in this area. Continue in this direction until you reach a larger track at marker 38.
(4) Just before the track (and marker), turn right towards Beuil via Le Clot on a poorly marked path, following the yellow markings to exit the densest part of the forest.
Then follow the well-marked and signposted path, which descends gently along a ledge and crosses a few valleys to marker 39.
(5) Turn right and follow the path to the road at marker 29a.
(6) Turn right and carefully climb the road to Col Sainte-Anne to return to the starting point. (S/E)
