The walk starts at Souppes station, coming from Paris Gare de Lyon on the R train towards Montargis.
(S) From the station, turn right onto Rue Pasteur and continue to Place de la Bourse du Travail.
(1) Turn left towards the Church of Saint-Clair-Saint-Léger, passing Place de la République.
(2) At the post office, turn right and walk along the Ru du Morion. Walk round the École Élémentaire du Centre and you’ll reach the banks of the Loing. Walk along the river, passing close to the sports ground and the go-kart route.
(3) Continue to the right along the banks of the Loing, passing the Camping Car Park.
(4) At the junction, turn right, walking alongside the Souppes-sur-Loing leisure centre, which is on your left. At the end of the pond, turn left and you’ll immediately come to a junction.
(5) Turn right into the woodland and head towards Rue du Lavoir, passingthe Travellers’ Reception Area.
(6) Turn right, follow the ponds along Chemin des Prés Longs until you reach a car park near Moulin Foulon.
(7) Turn right, cross the bridge over the Loing, then continue right along the Canal du Loing to reach the Écluse des Grands Moulins.
(8) Cross the lock, then turn left and walk for 100 m. At the three-way junction, leave the Canal du Loing and turn right onto Rue de la Louvetière to reach Mocpoix.
(9) Carry on straight ahead through the hamlet, passing the water tower, and continue along the Route de Mocpoix.
(10) Leave the road by taking a path through the fields on the right.
(11) At the junction, turn left, walk along the edge of the woodland, then enter it on the right.
(12) Carry on straight ahead through the woods until you reach a road. Turn left onto it and continue to the first houses in Château Landon.
(13) Turn right onto Rue du Capitaine Antoine Chambon, come out onto the D207 and follow it to the left to reach Place d’Hirschhorn.
(14) Head left, walk alongside the Mail car park, go down the stairs and carry on almost straight ahead, passing the Château-Landon Town Hall. At the road, turn left and walk for about 100 m.
(15) Go down the stairs on the right, cross Rue du Bas Larry and take the stairs opposite to reach the banks of the Fusain. Turn left, then right onto Rue des Gauthiers and cross the Fusain.
(16) Take the path on the left to follow the Fusain river until you reach the first crossing point.
(17) Turn left to cross the bridge, then turn right onto Rue des Martins. Pass the Moulin de Gilliet, and continue straight on through fields, woods and alongside the river. Pass the Pont Franc, continue straight on past the pumping station and enter the woods. You’ll reach the few houses at La Concorde and continue until you reach the three-way junction.
(18) Take a sharp right-hand bend, pass the Moulin de Lorroy, then, a little further on, turn left to join the Canal du Loing and the Voie Verte.
(19) Turn right and follow the banks of the Canal du Loing, pass under the A77 bridge and carry on straight ahead. Before reaching the D62 bridge, turn right to join it.
(20) Turn left to cross the road, cross the bridge over the Loing and walk alongside the Dordives leisure centre and its ponds. You’ll arrive at Dordives station (E).
