The Yerre Valley

Parking is available in the church car park.

(S/E) Take Rue du Général Leclerc, then turn right onto the D338, passing in front of the mill on Rue du Moulin.

(1) Continue straight on Rue du Moulin (D338) to the old calvary at elevation 188.

(2) Then turn sharply right towards La Calucière and continue to the next intersection.

(3) Turn left, pass La Massugère and join a path on the left.

(4) Turn left onto this path, which joins a road at Fougeuil.

(5) Turn right, then left onto the path at the exit of the hamlet to reach Les Petites Thionnières.

(6) Pass this farm, turn left and pass Les Grandes Thionnières.

(7) At the exit, turn left and join a road near La Pépinière.

(8) At the crossroads, turn left onto the small road. Pass La Brosse Feuillue and La Basillardière and continue to a bend in this road.

(9) Continue straight ahead on a path towards Grand Mellanville and join a T-junction.

(10) Turn left, pass La Franchetière, then turn right. The path joins the Yerre; follow the river to Rue du Moulin (D338).

(1) Turn right and head towards the church at La Bazoche-Gouet (S/E).
