Departure from the centre of Lalande-en-Son, car park near the town hall.
There is a sign describing the walk. Yellow markings on the path.
(S/E) With your back to the sign, turn right and continue to the next intersection a few dozen metres away. At the intersection, turn right and then (20 metres later) immediately left. You will immediately come to a crossroads.
(1) Take the path on the right, which descends quite steeply and joins a road.
(2) Follow the road to the left, downhill.
(3) In the left-hand bend, leave the road and take the path on the right that enters the Bois de Lande. Continue along a slight incline for 2 km through fields, light woodland and the edge of the forest. You will arrive at the road at a place called Le Michelet.
(4) Take the road on the left, which climbs slightly and then descends for a long way towards Puiseux-en-Bray.
(5) Do not descend to the centre but, at a left-hand bend, turn right onto a wide path between two houses. Leave the path on the left and follow the path opposite across the fields. Walk alongside woods on the left and fields on the right for about 1.5 km.
(6) Enter a sparse forest, continue straight ahead and then keep to the left.
(7) At an intersection, turn right onto a forest track that climbs uphill and joins a road.
(8) Turn right, then take the road to the left of the cross. Cross the hamlet of Le Tronquet and turn right at the intersection.
(9) Just before the crossroads, take the path on the left that crosses the Bois du Mesnil. Continue straight ahead across the fields until you reach the road that enters Lalande-en-Son. Continue straight ahead to the starting point (S/E).
