La Croix Saint-Jean

Marked route No. 21.
A very pretty route for a short family hike, discovering the Vrille at the very beginning of the route with a ford crossing on the Pont des Canards, then, after the Croix Saint-Jean, another crossing on a stone bridge (the springs are a few hundred metres away). On the way back, you pass in front of the Saint-Symphorien church.

Worth a visit

(6) Visit the church (often referred to as the cathedral of Puisaye).

The fortified castle of Guédelon.

If you are a fan of castles, don't miss Ratilly. Its construction in Puisaye stone (ferruginous sandstone) will surprise you with its beauty. The builders of the fortified castle of Guédelon were inspired by Ratilly.

A route that is easy and well signposted. Beautiful views over the small town of Treigny and its rooftops clustered around the church. The path crosses wheat fields and offers views over the rolling hills of the Forterre region. We even saw a microlight take off. Return via a beautiful path through the woods. An excellent walk for reconnecting with nature after lockdown.
