Car park: Place de Wadelincourt.
(S/E) Set off along Rue du Moulin, then turn left onto Rue des Écoles.
Take the first path on the left to rejoin Rue Habert Desrousseaux (GR® 14).
Head up to the right. At the next fork, turn left. After a bend to the left, the slope becomes steeper. Immediately turn right onto a path running alongside fields and copses.
Reach the Liry. At the three-way junction, continue straight ahead and walk a few metres.
(1) A three-way junction; continue straight ahead and ignore the path branching off to the right. Follow the least marked grassy path (GR® signposted). Pass between two fields and reach the forest. After a climb, arrive at the Marfée site.
(2) Turn right and stay on the most clearly marked path until you reach the ruins of Maison Neveux.
(3) Continue straight ahead along the forest track; at the junction (elevation 323) with another track, turn right and reach the hamlet of Tue-Chevaux.
(4) Walk down for about a hundred metres and turn right at the bend (elevation 283) to reach the memorial to Adjutant Carrier.
(5) Return to the bend and head down to the RD977.
(6) Cross the road with care (dangerous road) and continue to Cheveuges.
(7) Turn right onto Rue de la Belle Volée and follow it to the Fontaine du Vivier, then continue along Rue du Chenan, keeping in the same direction until you reach Ruelle du Vivier. Turn left, pass by the wash house and, taking a farm track on the right, climb up to the Croix Piot route.
(8) Turn left onto the signposted path and follow it for 600m. Then, turn right up the second path at a sharp angle to reach the orientation table (magnificent views over the valleys and surrounding villages).
(9) Take the path on the right to reach the Saint-Onésime Chapel, located 150m from the viewpoint.
(10) Continue in the same direction to the signpost for La Croix Piot.
(11) Head down towards Rouvroy (signpost). The path is in poor condition for 300m.
(12) Continue down to the RD977, cross it and carry on along the Chemin de la Noë to the Ruelle de Messe.
(13) Turn left into the alley and follow it to the church.
(14) Turn right and follow Rue du Chêne, Chemin de Boutry, Place du Monument and Rue de la Marfée in succession to reach Chemin des Romains.
(15) Turn left towards the water tower, then take the path branching off to the right 50 metres further on.
Continue straight on until you reach Wadelincourt church.
(16) Follow Rue Maurice Ameil, then turn right into Ruelle du Moulin. Continue straight ahead into Rue du Moulin and head towards the village square (S/E).
