Start at the Saint-Geoirs crossroads, at the junction of the D158 and the D154c, which links Cours to the village of Saint-Geoirs.
(S/E) Head west and follow the Chemin du Veyron.
(1) At the fork, continue right along the Chemin du Veyron. At the next junction, turn right into La Flamanchère.
(2) At the junction, turn left onto a small dirt and gravel track called Tarmarin supérieur. This runs alongside a few private ponds (on the right) and leads onto a road (Route de la Casanière).
(3) Follow the road to the left towards Saint-Pierre-de-Bressieux. When you reach the hamlet of Casanières, turn left onto the small Route des Martelières.
(4) At the junction in Martelières, turn left onto Montée des Martelières. At the end of this small tarmac road, a long stone and dirt track begins, leading to the ridge of Saint-Pierre-de-Bressieux. Ignore the small road coming from Puy Muret and head uphill towards the east to reach the summit of the ridge.
(5) Descend on the other side, still heading east. At the junction of the hiking trails, head straight ahead (north-east) towards Saint-Geoirs.
(6) At the end of the dirt track, continue along the tarmac Montée du Veyron.
(1) Turn right onto the Chemin du Veyron to return to the starting point (S/E).
