Description of the walk

(S/E) The hike starts at Ohlsdorf station (U1, S1, S11) at the western exit. Turn left, take the second right, then left along the water.

(1) We have reached the Alster and follow the hiking trail along the shore.

(2) A bridge takes us over the Skagerrak Canal. We then follow the banks of the Alster to Alsterdorfer Damm. There we turn right and cross the river. We continue along Alsterkrugchaussee into Sportallee. We take the second left and then keep to the right. The path leads through an allotment garden association. Next left, right, right and then immediately left again. After a right-hand bend, we turn left again. We reach the street Weg beim Jäger, turn right and then take the next left.

(3) The road now runs through Borsteler Jäger Park. At the second fork, take the right-hand road; the middle road is also possible. Turn right at the next road. On Licentiatenweg, turn left, then immediately right, right and right again.

(4) We have reached the Hamburg Airport grounds. At the end of the road, turn left, then right. At the end, turn left, then right onto Reitzeweg. After the left-hand bend, turn right again and follow the road along the airport grounds. Take the next right.

(5) Cross the Tarpenbek and continue along the airport grounds.

(6) From the viewpoint, we take a last look at the airport. Then we turn left and follow Vogt-Cordes-Damm. Turn right onto Kollaustraße, then left, right and left again.

(7) We walk past the old Niendorfer Friedhof cemetery and take the next left. We cross Bondenwald and take the second right, then the second left.

(8) We have reached the game reserve in Niendorfer Gehege. From the viewpoint, we observe the fallow deer. We then walk south along the game reserve. Take the next left, then right. At the end of the path, turn right.

(9) You will pass the Mutzenbecher Villa. Take the next right. You are now walking along the other side of the game reserve and turn left at the end.

(10) The path leads us to the banks of the Kollau, which we cross. After the bridge, we turn left and follow the stream.

(11) After the Mühlenau, turn right. At Kollenhof, turn right. After the railway tracks, take the next right. At Olloweg, turn right again.

(12) We pass the Poseidon swimming pool and enter Sola-Bona-Park. We turn left at the next opportunity. Keep left at the fork in the path, then turn left along the Düngelau. At Bollweg, we turn left, then left again, then right.

(13) Walk past the Kronsaalsweg retention basin. Turn left at the road, then right. Follow the stream. Turn right at Wittenmoor, then left, and continue along the stream. Turn right at Rohlfsweg, then right at Volksparkstraße, take the third left, then right. You have reached Stellingen station (S3, S21). (E)
