The Gallo-Roman site of Champlieu and the Grands Monts
In the southern part of the Compiègne State Forest, a figure-of-eight walk with two very different circular loops. A first short loop takes you through the hamlet of Champlieu with the remains of its Romanesque chapel and allows you to visit a beautiful Gallo-Roman site (theatre, thermal baths, temple). The second, longer loop is mainly through woodland.
