A very pleasant route through the woods to the village of Lévignen, where, given the time of year, there are lots of chestnuts and several types of mushrooms. Between points 8 and 9, you have to cross two junctions on the N2, which is not without risk. Immediately after the second junction, there is a staircase on the right which, if taken with care, allows you to reach the road below without having to walk along the D332 behind the safety barriers. Then, the return to the Bois du Roi is quite complicated between points 10 and 12 because the paths have been damaged by agricultural or forestry machinery, which has left deep ruts filled with stagnant water despite the absence of rain for about four weeks. Fortunately, mushrooms and chestnuts are still there. Overall, it is necessary to follow the map in addition to the description.
