(S) Church car park.
Head to the right of the church along Rue de Haute Brin, which turns left.
(1) Pass the cemetery and continue along the road that passes in front of the forest house after a right-hand bend.
(2) At the intersection with Route Forestière de la Maquignère, turn left.
(3) At the Rond Georges, turn right onto Route de la Cuvelle. At the next intersection, turn left.
(4) Cross a small bridge over a stream. Ignore a path coming from the right and continue to a T-junction.
(5) Turn left at the next intersection and continue. Cross two small streams via bridges to join theGR®5.
(6) Turn left and follow theGR® which follows the Route de Bouxiéres (red and white markings).
(7) At an elevation of 245 metres, turn left and continue towards the Étang de Brin, which you will go around on the right.
(8) At the pond, visit the bird observatory and take the time to watch the birds.
Then return to Brin-sur-Seille by following theGR® trail, then Rue de l'Étang and finally turn left to return to the church car park.
