Departure from the cemetery in Braye-sous-Faye, near the church. Parking is available along the road opposite the cemetery.
Yellow markings
(S/E) Follow the road towards the village exit (east). Just before the exit sign, leave the road and turn left onto a grassy path. Ignore a path on the left and continue east-northeast.
(1) At the crossroads, take the first path on the left towards Moulin Pinsard (sign). Head north on this wide path with the wall of Parc de Richelieu on your left and woods and then a field on your right.
(2) At the fork, turn right, still towards Moulin Pinsard (sign). At the houses, turn left onto the path, pass between two buildings and then under a row of plane trees.
(3) Opposite the gate to a private property, turn right, ignore a path on the right and turn left to cross the River Veude. Then follow a long straight path to the north-east on a gravel track between fields, woods and poplar groves. Finally, walk along a fence on your right.
(4) At the corner of the fence, before a "Stop 250m" sign, turn right. Follow a sandy path in the forest to the south-east, keeping the fence on your right.
(5) At another corner of the fence, continue straight ahead and ignore a path on the left. Continue south-east on the CR49 (sign). Near a triangular crossroads, ignore the path on the right, pass a yellow cross and walk along the right-hand side of the triangle.
No markings
(6) At the tip of the triangle, turn right (left side, "CR55" sign perpendicular to the path; right side, old blue cross on a tree). Head southwest on a stony path. The path curves to the left, runs alongside a poplar grove on the left and exits the woods. Continue between the fields, following the deep ditch of a stream on your left. At the corner of a wood, ignore a path on the right and continue to a road.

(7) Follow the road to the right and cross the Veude again. When the road turns right, take a farm track to the left towards Les Aulnes (no arrow or marker here, but there is a signpost).
(8) At the next junction, turn right onto a grassy path that starts at the edge of the woods and then enters the woods. Keep heading west-northwest, staying on the main path and ignoring the side paths (private property). Cross a pine forest and then a deciduous forest.
No signposts
At the end of the path, turn right, then immediately left onto the road. Enter Braye-sous-Faye and return to the cemetery car park (S/E).
