Description of the walk

(S) From the Ortu di u Piobu refuge, cross the forest almost along the contour line, slightly uphill. Reach a first small stream near a sheepfold. Go up the stream valley at the foot of huge rock slabs.
The trail then continues to climb through small alders and large boulders until you reach Bocca di Pisciaghja (1,950 m). This section is quite long.

(1) Cross this pass to reach the southern slope of Capu Ladroncellu, climb slightly before traversing along the contour line through scree and boulder fields.

(2) Arrive at the Avartoli pass.
At this point, the trail crosses over to the eastern slope, continuing along the contour line with a short exposed section, before returning to the west and reaching Bocca Innominata (1912m).

(3) Once you have crossed the last pass of the day, descend quite steeply towards the bottom of the Carrozzu valley. The descent is really steep at first, and long before you reach the trees and a gentler descent to the Carrozzu refuge (E).

always difficult
An average hiker takes about 6-7 hours to complete it, as does the next one, according to the time taken by several average people who set off at the same time as me.
On the other hand, the next one was very popular
but I took a different route based on the weather forecast

On our second day of walking, after a steep climb, today we have a long descent ahead of us. So take care of your knees. There is a short exposed section at the Avartoli Pass.
