Start from the car park at Mesnil-Mauger church.
(S/E) Turn your back on the church and take Rue du Centre on your right. Continue along Rue du Centre, passing the school on your right. Carry on along this street until you reach the junction with the D120.
At the junction, turn left and take Route de la Papillonnerie until you reach a fork.
(1) Continue along the Route du Moulin Jacquet on your right until you reach the junction with the Chemin de Saint-Jouarre.
(2) Turn left onto Route du Mesnil-Mauger. At the fork with Route d’Hodeng, continue straight on along Route du Mesnil-Mauger until you reach the junction with the D135, Route de Gaillefontaine.
(3) Cross the D135 and take the path opposite that leads up towards Bival.
(4) At the end of the path, continue along the road on your right, Chemin de Bival. Take the first path on your left into the Plaine d’Hodeng.
(5) At the bottom of the path, take the tarmac road on your left, Chemin des Macmonts, for about twenty metres, then turn right onto Chemin de Bival. Continue along the tarmac road which descends to the junction with the D135. Cross the D135 and take the Route d’Hodeng opposite.
Continue along this road, which passes through the hamlet of Hodeng in the commune of Nesle Hodeng, until you reach a fork just past the Hodeng chapel.
(6) Take the road on your right, Chemin des Pentes, and continue along this winding road as it climbs.
(7) Pass in front of the Ferme des Pentes until you reach a fork. At the fork, continue along the road on your left until you reach a junction.
(8) Take the Route de la Papillonnerie on your left, ignoring the other paths, until you reach a fork you passed on the way there.
(1) Continue straight on for about fifty metres, then turn right into Rue du Centre.
Follow this street and return to your starting point at the church car park (S/E).
