Parking in the village square of Neuville-Ferrières, with its town hall and church.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, leave the car park on your left and walk past the church. Go down the steps opposite the Café de Pays, cross the RD117 and follow it to your right until you reach the Fork in the road.
(1) At the Fork in the road, take the local road on your left towards Pont de Canche. Continue straight on; you’ll reach the Route du Beau Soleil in Saint-Saire, which you follow until you reach the Carrefour de la Croix des Cloutiers.
(2) At the junction, turn left onto the D119 to head back down to the centre of the village of Saint-Saire.
At the bottom of the road, you’ll arrive at a crossroads opposite the church.
(3) Cross the junction, turn right and then immediately left to join the Avenue Verte. You’ll pass the vicarage on your right and the old castle on your left.
(4) When you reach the junction with the Avenue Verte at kilometre marker 69, take the Avenue Verte on your left. Continue straight on along the Avenue Verte until kilometre marker 70, passing the restored old railway station.
(5) At PN70, cross the D7. Continue along the Avenue Verte to Neuville-Ferrières at PN73.
(6) At PN73, leave the Avenue Verte on your left. You will come out onto the D117.
(7) Turn left, then cross the D117 at the pedestrian crossing. Continue to your left, walking along the pavement beside the D117 towards the centre of Neuville-Ferrières, passing the former stately home.
(8) Walk through the Jardin de l’Alphabet, which runs alongside the D117. Cross the D117 at the pedestrian crossing before the bridge over the River Béthune. Continue along the pavement until you reach the “Café de Pays”. Cross the D117 again, then take the steps to reach the car park at the village square in Neuville-Ferrières (S/E).
