Start in front of Graval Town Hall.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, turn left and follow the road to the mini roundabout.
(1) Turn left onto Route de Fayelle.
(2) Turn right onto the village track which, halfway along, runs alongside the Bois de Fayel.
(3) At the bottom of the path marked in grey, take the hairpin bend and turn right onto the path until you reach a Fork in the road.
(4) Carry on straight ahead along the Chemin des Hattingues, which becomes a small road; continue straight on along this. At the fork in the road before the A29 motorway, turn right and go under the motorway bridge. Continue along the road until you reach a fork in the road.
(5) Turn right onto the Chemin des Sources (Mortemer). Carry on to the junction with Rue du Lavoir and Chemin de Notre-Dame.
(6) Turn right and follow Rue du Lavoir to the junction with Route de l’Eaulne and Rue du Donjon.
(7) Cross the junction and carry on straight ahead along Route de l’Eaulne. You’ll pass the town hall and Mortemer church, which are on your left.
On leaving the village, carry on straight ahead along the D36 towards Flamets-Frétils until you reach the motorway, then pass under the motorway bridge.
(8) Take the first dirt track on your right. At the first Fork in the road, carry on straight ahead until you reach a second Fork in the road.
(9) Turn left onto the Chemin du Bois Humechon, which climbs towards Graval.
(10) At the top of the track, you’ll reach Rue du Bois de la Vigne, near the Vallée Haute farm, which produces Graval cheese.
Turn right onto the street which goes downhill and then uphill again after the village pond. At the top of the street, turn left to return to your starting point, the town hall (S/E).
