Park on Rhodes Church Square next to the campsite.
(S/E) Head towards the main crossroads and turn right towards the Albeschaux farm, the12th-century Sainte-Anne Chapel and Langatte. You can stay on the road or turn left in the middle of the Sainte-Croix bend. At the crossroads in front of the Rhodes tennis club, take the road leading to the campsite and the leisure park.
(1) Turn right towards Les Paquis restaurant. Keep to your right and walk along the pond, which is public land owned by VNF (Voie Navigable de France), along the Quartier des Poissons. Walk along the pond to reach Cornée des Rèthes.
(2) Continue left to go around this bend. Stay on this path through the reeds. You will then reach the crossroads at a place called La Charbonnerie.
(3) Turn left to enter the forest. Take the woodchip path. You will soon reach the Collignon de Videlange municipal road, then the junction of a path leading back into the woods.
(4) Turn right into the Languimberg national forest. This section is muddy in winter for 200 metres.
Join the "Chauffour" forest road. Turn left and continue straight ahead for 800 metres.
At the junction with the Adelhouse forest road, turn left and return to the municipal road.
(5) Turn right and join the D95. Continue left on a path parallel to the departmental road.
You are now back in the centre of the historic village. On the right, 250 metres away, is one of the three Anabaptist-Mennonite cemeteries in Moselle. See the information panel installed in 2019.
(6) Then retrace your steps and return to the Place de l'Église car park (S/E).
